Improvement Phase 2

Working around active pedestrian sidewalks required our crews to carefully coordinate the work and storage of all materials as to not impact the existing walkways. Temporary measures and attention to traffic control enabled the project to be completed without impacting the pedestrians who utilize the park.

The project required the installation of a concrete bulkhead wall.  Excavation, reinforcement steel, formwork and concrete placement allowed for the walkway to be created.  Select backfill and compaction allowed for a stable subbase for the walkway.  Finish treatments of pavers and ornamental railings were installed.
