Simpson & Brown is an industry leader in deep foundation services, heavy civil services and marine construction. The company’s roots can be traced back to the late 1600s when the Brown brothers brought their experience in waterfront construction to the U.S. from England. By 1731, they had started a harbor side construction business in Boston. In 1831, they moved from Boston to New York, where the company established a reputation for quality in the extremely competitive New York/New Jersey waterways construction business. Since the dawn of the 20th Century, Simpson & Brown (so named when Princeton-educated engineer Charles R. Simpson joined the firm and became President) has maintained their reputation for excellence – performing work from New York to Philadelphia.
